We put so much pressure on ourselves to achieve certain things by certain ages.
Get a good job by twenty-five, be married by thirty, have kids by thirty-five. These invisible timelines float around us, making us feel rushed or inadequate if we don't "keep up." But what if we stopped trying to keep up altogether?
The idea that thirty can be both old and young at the same time shows us that there’s no single "right" path. My journey is different from yours, and yours is different from everyone else's. There's no rulebook for life, no finish line we all have to cross at the same time. The world shouldn't rush me, and it shouldn't rush you either.
It's a reminder to be kind to myself. If I haven't achieved something by a certain age, it doesn't mean I'm failing. It just means my story is unfolding at its own pace.
It's also a reminder to celebrate the small victories, the everyday triumphs, and even the difficult times I've overcome.
